Finally off the light bed!

We had to rent the light bed for a coupla days but finally Nic's better!
Doc called and confirmed she dun have to be on the bed anymore..

Thank goodness, think she was really dreading sweating on the ultraviolet bed...

So here she is alot more comfy in her bed.

And here she is with her eyes wide open after a good nap...

Weekend Visits

This Saturday Nicole had many surprise visits ... It was a good gathering and everyone were here to see her.

Of course, she didnt disappoint - posing with her eyes wide open for the cameras as well as for all her guests ... hheheh

Here's sis carrying her for the first time... Easy does it. She's pretty light and warms up easily to a friendly set of arms...

Nicole's 1st Day

The long awaited - Nicole's 1st day ! Look how pretty she is on her first day!

Venue was Thomson Medical delivery ward. I was on hand with the trusty video cam to capture

her first moment of glory.

Can even see her eye lashes ... !! heheh

After visiting and playing with Nicole last night, it was off to the sun tanning bed again over night.

Here she is getting some rest with a warning to the nurses to call Mommy once the milk runs out.

Hopefully it will last the entire night!

Suntanning...

Hey went to see Dr Sim today and here she is - carrying little Nickie while she brawls her lungs out.. usual feeding pangs hitting again I suppose...

After that, Nicole goes to see the paedetrician at Mount Alvernai and guess what (though we were not all that surprised since she was way too yellowish) - she got jaundice!

The tests showed that her jaundice seemed high, although it wasn't at a dangerous level yet.

It was advised that she get some serious sun as soon as possible... Nicole needs a tan!!

So off she went to the ward. We checked into Thomson Medical and got her a nice ward so she can tan in privacy and serenity....

Here are some groovy scenes (like in a disco light) of her getting a tan under 4 massive tanning lights, including from the bottom of the bed as well.

Nic was sweating under the heat but most times she seemed to be enjoying herself we reckon. heheh

Nicole Opens Her Twinkly Eyes...

'Mmm I wanna see where I'm born.... Thomson ward looks nice... And my parents looks super happy heheh...'

Little baby Nicole opens her eyes for the camera for the first time. Taken by Ms Wong Bo Boi of Thomson Medical, this was a really nice shot of us with Nicole.

We had just had a session on hands-on breast feeding with the mommy, and now Nicole is fully fed. Guess thats why she's all eyes open now :)

Nicole Arrives on 11 July 2010!!

"Me know its not 38 weeks yet, but I cant wait to get out of here.. hehehe so here goes... See, I know Daddy wants to watch soccer, so I let me folks watch the 2010 World Cup Germany vs Urugray game before I pop heheh"

We managed to watch the semi-final game from 2.30am till 5am... before Mummy started wailing in the toilet about her contraction and we had to rush to the hospital due to the overwhelming pain...

Nicole sure is a cooperative darling baby.

Not only did we get to watch the runner-up World Cup game, we also get to watch the FINAL!!!

Nicole gave us the ticket to take Monday off to watch the early game at 2.30am Monday 12 July 2010.

Way cool, Nicole babie - you have the best timing ever! Can't ask for anything better!!

For those who still haven't heard - Spain beat Netherlands 1-0. Great game even if it was scored towards the last minutes of the second half.
